Boise State might get all the attention, but there is another team from Idaho looking to make some noise in the Western Athletic Conference.

The Idaho Vandals put together a solid 2010, going 8-5 and finishing fourth in the WAC at 4-4. And that’s where the media voting in the WAC preseason poll see the Vandals landing in 2010.

In the conference preseason predicted order of finish, Idaho was picked to finish fourth in the conference. Boise State was first, followed by Nevada and Fresno State.

The Vandals open the season at home on Sept. 2 against North Dakota. The first road game of the season is a big one: a trip to Nebraska on Sept. 11.

Among other highlights of the schedule: a Friday night home game with WAC champ Boise State on Nov. 12.
